Club Loose at BeaveRun – Bonus Stage

Hey everyone it’s Kinch again, hope you all had a happy Fourth of July. I’m back with coverage of another BeaveRun Drift Day, hosted by ClubLoose. Originally we didn’t have any July dates scheduled, but thanks to the efforts of John Wagner we scored a last-minute date on July 3rd. So the title of Bonus Stage, seemed appropriate. My FC is down for repairs at the moment, so it was just media for me today. I just finished up my photos so I decided to get them up while they were still fresh. I have some-in car video that I’ll be posting in the coming days.

The first turn was a long left-handed sweeper. Everyone was having trouble getting right through out the day. But Henry Russo came in hot, and with a long e-brake pull he made it through in one piece.

Jimmy Caldwell laid down some solid runs in his wife’s pink S13 coupé. This car always turns head, especially with him behind the wheel.

This white Nissan 300zx (Z31) was a new face at the track. You don’t see too many 300zx’s drifting, so I was surprised how well he was doing in such a unique car. Hope he continues coming out to BeaveRun.

Another surprise today was this blue S13 hatch, and his very talented driver. He laid down consistent runs all day. During this lap he did most (if not all) of the course, with one hand out the window. Props to him.

Jesse Colussy was killing it like usual in his RB20 S13 hatch. However during one of his runs, he came in a little too hot to the first turn and spun off into the grass blowing out one of his coilover struts. Lucky for me, I managed to be in the car when it happened so look for that video soon.

Henry Russo and Josh Hinchberger’s tandem runs are always fun to watch. With these two cars on the course, the track sounded like a V8 orchestra as Henry’s Mustang 5.0 Corolla battled against Josh’s LS powered S14.

A lot of the ride along passengers (and drivers) like to give a little extra when they’re in front of the camera, so I’ll let the next few pictures do the talking.
